If you haven’t been to Calgary or don’t know much about our city, we have some big YeeHaw energy for 10 days out of the year. Those days are The Calgary Stampede. Two parts rodeo, one part carnival, daily concerts, free pancake breakfasts, and a whole city filled with part-time cowboys.

Date night at The Stampede is a wildly good time between the strange deep-fried foods, crazy rides & wine gardens but a date night couples photo session turned out even better than I expected with Vlad & Maria!!

Hot and sunny as all hell, we ran around the grounds living our best stampede life! Fries in hand, wine to cool off! With Maria in a white dress and boots, many people assumed V&M were engaged – they’re not -but we played right into and the water gun carni even rigged the game for us to win!

If you’re wondering if it would be fun to go to a local event or do an activity for your couples photos, the answer is a big Ol’ YES!!!
